Sad caufe of grief ! for here in duft,                           Beneath this Stone a faithful Friend is laid,   

Lies a dear friend, good, Virtuous, Just,                     Who has ye common Debt of Nature paid,    

Great caufe of joy ! when Chrift fhall come,              A Lofs to all his Friends he’s left behind ;       

  And break up every Grave and Tomb ;                       But from ys World his Soul has took its Flight 

Whilft at the mighty Sovereign voice,                        To dwell in endlefs Joys, & Sweet Delight.      

Sinners fhall tremble, Saints Rejoice.
