One of the recognisable plots from the Enclosure Commissioners map of c.1758 is of this property.
Named after the 'Goose Green' a few hundred metres away to the north, this property was owned by the Wilkins, Adcock and Draper families in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Some records also called this Harrison's farm after the occupier in residence from c.1880 to 1922.
